Important moment in custom made production of dogs
wheelchairs is proper measurement.
Measures needed are shown below. First point is dog s shoulder (knuckle top
of front legs). Pictures show easy ways for taking proper measures. In the
moment when measures start, beside centimeter I recommend to have someone to
help you.
- V is the height of the dog
measured from shoulder to floor
- D is the length of the dog measured from shoulder to mid-back legs
- d is the length (width) of the dogs thigh
- S is distance between shoulders
- OG is chest circumference, it s the best to take the measure of upper part
- OV is the length of the neck, the distance between the shoulders, measured
over the neck
